A few steps to your first draft.

These instructions accompany your existing GhostAI development package. Download and extract the entire ZIP before running its setup files.

Windows + Chrome

1. Extract all files into a folder you can keep.
2. Run INSTALL-GHOSTAI.cmd. The package requires Node.js 22 or later.
3. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode and choose Load unpacked.
4. Select the installed extension folder, normally %LOCALAPPDATA%\GhostAI\app\extension.
5. Open GhostAI Settings and sign in to your account.

Mac preview

The package contains INSTALL-GHOSTAI.command and a macOS companion. Follow the included README and Mac setup notes. Native compilation, permissions and typing need verification on your Mac; this is a preview, not a verified signed Mac release.

Your first session

1. Open a supported page and select the context you want to use.
2. Press Alt + Shift + Q for selected text, or Alt + Shift + C for a screenshot region.
3. Generate and review your draft.
4. Click where the response should go, press Play, and advance with your keyboard.
5. Press Escape to pause.

Use responsibly

Only capture content you are permitted to share. Check generated content for accuracy. Respect the rules of your workplace, school and any service where you use AI assistance.
