Keyboard shortcuts

Click a shortcut, press 1–3 consecutive keys, then press Enter to finish. Each step can also be a combination, such as Ctrl+Shift+P. Press the steps within one second. Start with a function key or Ctrl / Alt / Command to avoid interfering with normal typing.

Escape always stops entry. Some browser and system shortcuts take priority.

Notes and answers

Paste your class notes here before starting. They stay saved on this computer. Only relevant excerpts are included in AI requests; answers may omit material. Imported files are read locally.

PDF, Word (.docx), or text · up to 10 MB. Text extraction only; scanned PDFs need OCR. Preview below, then Apply settings.

Your notesDefault instruction

From any supported tab: select a question → Alt+Shift+Q. Or Alt+Shift+C → drag over the question. When the pill is already open, F8 then Q / C also works. Your answer is prepared automatically, with no need to open the percentage panel. Generate draft uses Alt+Shift+G (or F8 then G when the pill is open) to reuse the last captured question. Click where you want it, then Play.

Connect your helper

The helper is needed for Google Docs typing and selected-text capture. AI answers and normal website controls use the extension directly.

Extract the entire ZIP.
Windows: run INSTALL-GHOSTAI.cmd. Mac: run INSTALL-GHOSTAI.command.
Load the installed extension folder in Chrome, then choose Connect helper.

The downloadable development package requires Node.js 22+. Mac preview requires macOS 12+ and Apple Command Line Tools. Allow GhostAI in macOS Accessibility and Input Monitoring, then restart the helper from the G menu. The Mac preview is unsigned for distribution and needs live Mac testing before customer release.
